I have a 5 yr old rat terrier that has pee'd in my bed 3 times in 3 days after peeing outside. What's wrong?

He is house trained and he goes outside often. I'm not sure what's wrong with him. it's so out of his nature. I love him but i cant keep washing my bedding daily.
