What should I knit that will keep me occupied and unbored?

Ravelry is a great site for ideas and patterns. I love to crochet amigurumi, which are little critters, like octopus, cats, aliens etc. Uses up scraps of wool and keeps me from snacking. You can find knitted versions of these little critters as well. On ravelry you can do a pattern search, you can sort free patterns and by difficulty. It is an american website but there are plenty of brits on it.
