Chenille thick and quick hat pattern?

I am going crazy. I need a hat pattern, or possibly gloves pattern for some chenille thick and quick I purchased the other day. The free patterns on lionbrand's website are absolutely awful. I have been searching for hours. It would be great to have some help with it. Thanks!
