Pleather jacket.. how am i gonna fix it?

my b/f has this "pleather" jacket and is basicaly ruined! His old friend used to own it and has passed away, For my b/fs birthday i wanted to get it fixed but cant seem to find any one who can do it!!! please someone help me!! i dont wanna just buy i knew b/c of the sentimental value...any advice???.
