The reason behind my dream?

Last night when i went to bed, I dreamt that my mother, who died giving birth to me, was pulling my broken leg and trying to drag me to hell. I was screaming and holding on to my bed and I closed my eyes and then when i opened my eyes I was awake and my broken leg was hurting really bad. It felt like it was real. What is the meaning of my dream? Why does it feel real?
